Carrington Schaeffer
Carrington is a Grand Junction native with many loves including music, theatre, and writing. In 2007, she graduated Summa Cum Laude with honors from Mesa State College with her bachelor’s degree in English Literature. While in college, she was a part of Mesa’s Chamber Choir and was named Vocalist of the Year twice. In 2004-2005, she won several awards at N.A.T.S., taking first place in Music Theater in her division. She has performed with the Cabaret Dinner Theatre, with Empire Theatre, and with Mesa State’s Theatre Department in such productions as Godspell and Westside Story. In 2006, she starred as “Audrey” in Little Shop of Horrors.
When she's not at home in Grand Junction writing full time or, taking writing classes at CMU, or performing with the Tonettes, she's out traveling the country with her husband. Keep up with their adventures on her travel blog!
