Janae DeBruin-Steward

Janae is a Grand Junction native who recently returned to her roots after a short adventure in New York City.  While there, she fulfilled her dream of auditioning for Broadway as well as attended classes to strengthen her art.  A dancer at heart, she has over 17 years of dance training, a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre degree, and a Minor in Dance from Mesa State College.  She performed with the Chamber and Concert choirs, Mesa Reperatory Dance, and in numerous MSC musicals such as The Wizard of Oz as Dorothy and Chicago as Mary Sunshine.  Janae also performed year round at the Cabaret Dinner Theatre and choreographed for Children’s Theatre Programs.  In 2007, Janae traveled across the country to perform in Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with the Prather Entertainment Group.  When she is not rehearsing or performing, Janae can be found at Crossroads Fitness Centers teaching group exercise and personal training.
