Tara DeBruin-Gatseos

Tara received her B.A. at Mesa State College and her M.M. at the University of Northern Colorado in Voice Performance.  She has performed extensively in musicals, in operas, and in choral works with MSC, UNC, the Western Colorado Chorale, Colorado Chorale, The Cabaret, Empire Theater Company, Greenshoe Theater Company, and High Desert Opera.  Tara is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, the National College Honor Scholarship Society, and the National Music Honor Society.  She has been the recipient of awards from the Denver Lyric Opera Guild, Philanthropic Educational Organization, N.A.T.S. competitions, and served as voice faculty at the Corsi Internazionali di Musica summer music program at the University of Urbino in Italy. 

In addition to maintaining a large private voice studio, she directs three home school choirs at Living Springs Conservatory, but her favorite job of all is being a mommy.  Other experience includes directing, coaching, conducting, dance, and music ministry.
